The JDRF walk-a-thon

We enjoyed attending the JDRF (Junior Diabetes Research Foundation) walk-a-thon again this year. Once again, GoDaddy provided some unique shirts for everyone to wear. (GoDaddy sponsored this event for the second year in a row.) They had kind of a baseball jersey look to them. We decided that they must pick colors that no one looks good in to be fair to everyone. Ha Ha! (Last year's shirts were BRIGHT green!) This year, we were all decked out in BRIGHT orange. What will they do next year!?!?

The kids had fun watching a clown make balloon animals (see pic above) and they liked all the eye catching surroundings, noise, and interesting people...

The Kidzulance was there again and Joshua had fun going inside it and checking everything out...

The kids were getting a little pooped out by the time we left. Tylee sat down on the curb for a quick break while we loaded stuff into the van. They ran out of little shirts so Tylee's had to be rolled up and tied around the back...

The Splash Pad

Re-energized by a quick car ride, we stopped at the splash pad on the way home. The kids love this during warmer weather (which sadly we were still having in November this year).

The first time we visited the splash pad (and forgot the camera) Tylee was a little apprehensive, but as soon as Joshua got wet we couldn't keep her away!

The kids were tired and worn out by the time we arrived home, but it was sure a fun day!
