Homestead Project
I am slowly getting caught up. When I downloaded the pics off the camera I found out the camera date got messed up. So, now I really have to work hard to sort through pictures. Fun times!
Anyways, I think we did this in December of 2009. Joshua's teacher sent home instructions on creating a "Homestead Project". Joshua is currently in 2nd grade. They were learning about how people lived with no electricity... farming, cooking, etc. We had a good time creating together. For the most part, we had to use natural things... sticks, grass, dirt... No plastic. We found all sorts of fun things in the back yard. Here's the finished product.
We got so into it I totally spaced taking pictures while we were actually working on it. Joshua got an 'A'!!
